Amstelveen, January 2026 – Net4kids expands its team with an enthusiastic new colleague: Isa Patist. As Project Manager, she will play a central role in coordinating and strengthening the more than 25 projects in Africa and Asia through which Net4kids offers young people future prospects.
A broad background in international development
Isa studied International Development Studies at Wageningen University & Research, where she completed both her bachelor's and master's degrees. During her master's, she specialized in Sociology of Development and Change and Disaster Studies. She interned at Cordaid and conducted research in a post-earthquake area in Italy.
After her studies, Isa immediately got hands-on experience with the start-up of a reception center for Ukrainian refugees in the Provincial House in Utrecht. Subsequently, she worked as a project leader at KNVB WorldCoaches, where she coordinated international programs in Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Uganda, and Indonesia, among others. There, she gained extensive experience managing entire project cycles, budgeting, fundraising, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders and cultures.
“The dynamics of project management really suit me,” says Isa. “And it was precisely the way Net4kids actively involves companies in projects that immediately appealed to me.”
Building sustainable impact together
Within Net4kids, Isa is responsible for the management and coordination of the entire project portfolio. She works closely with our local partners on reports for investors and supports partners in developing new project proposals. In doing so, she consciously chooses an equal partnership with the project partners.
“By building a relationship with our partners based on trust and transparency, I can take the quality of our projects to a higher level with the aim of maximizing their impact,” says Isa.
What appeals most to Isa about her role? The diversity of the projects and collaborating with partners from different cultures who all share the same passion: creating opportunities for young people.
Loves to travel, curious, and always up for an adventure
Anyone who meets Isa quickly discovers her curiosity and drive to explore. For instance, she recently undertook a world tour through New Zealand, Fiji, Japan, and Indonesia. She also lived on the Arctic Circle in Finnish Lapland for six months and has a fascination with volcanoes, which she has climbed on multiple continents.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking for friends and experimenting with desserts and pastries. The warm, open atmosphere at Net4kids feels like a perfect match for her.
